Summit, part of Elior North America, is seeking a cook supervisor for the Cass County Jail in Cass County, NE. The role focuses on supervising kitchen staff, ensuring meal quality, on-time service, and strict sanitation standards in a corrections setting.

This onsite position requires leadership in a fast-paced environment. You will train employees, uphold culinary methods, and support a team delivering nourishing meals to inmates while maintaining safety protocols and accountability.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of culinary experience in a high-volume, scratch-focused operation.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and train staff in all aspects of food service and sanitation to ensure meals start on time and quality standards are met.
