Job summary

Elior North America, Summit brand, seeks a Cook Supervisor for the Kane County Jail in Utah. You will coordinate and supervise a kitchen team in a fast-paced correctional setting to ensure meals meet standards and are served on time.

Required: at least one year of high-volume, scratch cooking; strong culinary methods knowledge; attention to detail; ability to train staff and supervise a team.

Qualifications

• At least one year’s prior culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail.
• Experience supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality.
