The Summit-branded correctional facility kitchen group is seeking a part-time cook supervisor in Monroe, NC. You will coordinate and supervise the work of employees to ensure efficiency and high-quality meals within a fast-paced, institutional setting.

Responsibilities include training staff, maintaining sanitation, and ensuring meals meet timing and quality standards while providing dependable guidance in a corrections environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of prior culinary experience in a high-volume setting with scratch cooking.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising a team and providing friendly, helpful service.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and train kitchen staff; ensure timely meal service and maintain portion, appearance and temperature standards.
