Job summary

Global Connections to Employment, Inc. is seeking a Cook II to accurately prepare, portion, cook, and present large quantities of food for multiple meal periods and events. You will support kitchen operations and maintain safety standards in a dynamic, multi-site environment.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of back-of-house experience, some supervisory exposure, and the ability to obtain ServSafe certification within 90 days. Expect varied shifts and potential weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in back of house food service or related field.
• Two years in a supervisory or lead role preferred.
• Ability to pass ServSafe Certification within 90 days of start date.
• Ability to read and quantify recipes and menus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook, and present large quantities of food for breakfast, lunch, dinner and events.
• Maintain knowledge of kitchen operations and safety.
• Interact professionally with customers, government personnel, subcontractors and management.
• Follow instructions and meet screening requirements including background checks.
