Job summary

Global Connections to Employment, Inc. is seeking a Cook II to accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present large quantities of food for breakfast, lunch, dinner and special events.

The role may include supervisory responsibilities in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The position requires at least two years of back-of-house experience, knowledge of basic kitchen operations, and the ability to read and quantify recipes and menus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in back-of-house food service or related field.
• 2 years in supervisory or lead role preferred.
• Must pass ServSafe Certification or equivalent within 90 days from start date.
• Must possess knowledge of basic kitchen operations.
• Must be able to read and quantify recipes and menus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook, and present large quantities of food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events.
• Display leadership in a food service setting; supervisory experience preferred.
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards are followed.
