Job summary

Invited is seeking a Cook 3 to lead food preparation, production, and presentation in a high-volume club kitchen, ensuring quality and consistency.

You will set up your workstation, supervise Cook 1 and 2, mentor staff, assist in menu planning, recipes, and ensure sanitation and safety standards. Occasional event catering and shift leadership may be involved.

The role requires advanced culinary skills, calm leadership under pressure, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in a kitchen environment.
• Valid Food Handler Certifications as required by state and city regulations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, execution of daily prep, and organization of workstation.
• Prepare and store all food items for your station.
• Maintain proper cooking techniques and presentation of daily specials, salads, entrees, and other menu items.
• Prepare or assist in preparing complete meals: soups, meats, gravies, vegetables, desserts, and baked goods.
• Receive and store goods purchased by kitchen as requested.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and kitchen.
• Assist in cleaning, maintenance of equipment, and inventory control.
• Communicate with the Executive Chef or Sous Chef regarding product needs or issues.
• Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and testing products.
• May assist in preparing meals for dietary needs or special events.
• May take charge of a shift in absence of Sous Chef.
• Assist in supervising Cooks and team members.
