Job summary

Instacart is hiring a Lead Contingent Workforce Program Manager to govern our MSP/VMS platform (Beeline + Monument) and scale a compliant contingent workforce program. You will partner with Legal, Accounting, and IT to implement policies, onboarding/offboarding processes, and an auditable framework.

You’ll drive adoption, governance, and international expansion, delivering a durable operating model for external labor across the company.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in program management, operations, or workforce management.
• Experience building programs from scratch in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Establish governance frameworks with clear SOPs and accountability for contingent workforce.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding within approved supplier network.
• Develop and operationalize policies that are SOX audit-ready.
• Drive adoption of the new contingent workforce model across the organization.
• Plan international expansion via centralized EOR and platform enhancements.
