Vast in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Senior People Operations Program Specialist to own onboarding, lifecycle management, and offboarding for contingent workers, independent consultants, and advisors. You will collaborate across Legal, IT, Security, Finance, and HR to ensure a compliant, scalable worker experience.

As the company expands internationally, you will lay groundwork for global HR programs and coordinate with Japan and France offices, balancing service delivery with risk management.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in People Operations or HR Operations.
• Experience coordinating onboarding and offboarding programs.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Legal, IT and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding, lifecycle management, and offboarding for contingent workers and consultants.
• Partner with Hiring Managers, Supply Chain, Legal, IT, Security, Finance, and People Operations.
• Coordinate system access, equipment provisioning, and workspace needs.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, worker classification, and internal controls.
• Develop SOPs and dashboards for contingent workforce metrics.
• Support international HR operations and global programs.
