Job summary

Doyon Management Services (DMS) seeks a Construction Superintendent to coordinate all site activities for government and military projects in the United States. The role emphasizes safety, schedule adherence, and budget control, with daily liaison to the project manager.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5 years of frontline supervision, and experience with USACE/NAVFAC contracts. Travel to additional project locations is expected, and Primavera/Project skills are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of construction experience as a working Superintendent.
• Experience with USACE and/or NAVFAC projects.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and Primavera scheduling software.
• Capable of minor scopes of work (carpentry, drywall, cleaning, demolition).
• Skilled in project estimation.
• 30-hour OSHA Safety Construction certification within last 5 years.
• First Aid CPR & AED Training within last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises all construction activities.
• Directs field personnel to complete the project on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Maintains daily communication with the project manager for compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Develops and maintains the construction schedule, identifying and resolving issues.
• Keeps accurate as-built drawings.
• Maintains safety documentation for on-site activities.
• Submits and procures materials for self-performance work.
• Promotes and administers job site safety and safe work practices.
• Travel to other project locations as needed.
