Job summary

Doyon Technical Services (DTS) is seeking a Construction Superintendent to coordinate all site activities and supervise field personnel. The role emphasizes delivering projects on schedule and within budget while upholding safety standards and quality, with responsibility through turnover.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5 years of superintendent experience, and exposure to USACE/NAVFAC work. Travel to multiple project locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of construction experience as a working Superintendent.
• Experience with USACE and/or NAVFAC projects is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean/acceptable driving record.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and Primavera scheduling.
• Capable of performing minor scopes of work (carpentry, drywall, cleaning, demolition).
• Skilled in project estimation.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction certification (within last 5 years).
• First Aid CPR & AED Training within last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises all construction activities.
• Directs field personnel to complete the project on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Maintains daily communication with the project manager.
• Develops and maintains the construction schedule, identifying and resolving issues.
• Keeps accurate as-built drawings.
• Ensures safety and quality standards on site.
• Oversees subcontractor pricing and change orders.
• Travel to other project locations as needed.
