Job summary

Doyon Management Services (DMS) is seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on a USACE/NAVFAC federal project in the Boston area. You will coordinate all site activities, supervise trades, enforce safety, and manage schedule, budget, and quality from NTP to turnover.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 10 years of construction experience, OSHA certification, and proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and Primavera.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 10 years of construction experience as a working Superintendent
• Experience with USACE and NAVFAC federal projects
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and Primavera scheduling software
• Capable of minor scopes of work (carpentry, drywall, cleaning, demolition)
• Skilled in project estimation
• 30-hour OSHA Safety Construction certification within last 5 years
• First Aid CPR & AED Training within last 2 years

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises all construction activities
• Directs field personnel to complete the project on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
• Maintains daily communication with the project manager for policy compliance
• Develops and maintains the construction schedule and resolves issues
• Maintains accurate as-built drawings
• Promotes and enforces job-site safety and quality standards
• Supervises project from NTP through final punch list and turnover
• Promotes positive relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers
