Job summary

Doyon is seeking a Construction Superintendent to coordinate all site construction activities and supervise field personnel. The role ensures on-schedule, on-budget delivery with top-quality results, adherence to safety standards, and active management of job-site operations from NTP through turnover.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, 5 years of Superintendent experience, USACE/NAVFAC project exposure, and proficiency with MS Office, Project, and Primavera.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of construction experience as a working Superintendent.
• Experience with USACE and/or NAVFAC projects.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and Primavera.
• Able to perform minor scopes of work (carpentry, drywall, cleaning, demolition).
• Skilled in project estimation.
• 30-hour OSHA Safety Construction certification within last 5 years.
• First Aid CPR & AED Training within last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises all construction activities.
• Directs field personnel to meet schedule, budget, and quality goals.
• Maintains daily communication with the project manager.
• Develops and maintains the construction schedule and resolves issues.
• Keeps accurate as-built drawings.
• Manages information requests in the project's best interest.
• Reviews subcontractors' schedules and pay applications.
• Coordinates and negotiates change orders with subcontractors.
• Updates safety documentation as the project progresses.
• Procures materials for self-performance work and schedules inspections.
• Travel to other project locations as required.
