Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Superintendent 1 for the Advanced Facilities Group to plan, manage, and execute assigned projects, focusing on safety, schedule and cost control across multiple industrial projects nationwide.

As part of the Advanced Facilities Group, you will lead subcontractors, manage field teams, maintain documentation, and coordinate with owners, design teams, and authorities to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred).
• 3+ years construction experience.
• 1+ years field supervision experience.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and mentor staff.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate and manage the project site care and control.
• Lead daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
• Attend and participate in progress and OAC meetings.
• Create and manage the project schedule with the Project Manager.
• Track budget and costs using PM reports.
• Communicate project information to owners, design team and authorities.
• Ensure QA/QC and support project closeouts with owner/architect/governing authorities.
