Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned projects within the Advanced Facilities Group. You will oversee material and equipment, assist with people management, and ensure documentation supports timely, profitable completion in line with JE Dunn's strategy and values.

This role requires leadership in safety, coordinating subcontractors, developing work plans, managing schedules and budgets, and communicating with owners, design teams

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years construction experience.
• 1+ years field supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and investigates incidents, mentoring others.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates and manages project site care, custody and control.
• Leads meetings (daily standups, weekly trade meetings) and participates in progress/OAC meetings.
• Manages project schedule and cost reporting using project management tools.
