Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company’s Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) is seeking a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned projects across our diverse portfolio including data centers and manufacturing facilities. You will oversee material and equipment, support people management, and ensure documentation and project goals are met for timely, profitable completion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years construction experience.
• 1+ years field supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and ensures an injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and organizes overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates and manages project site care and control.
• Leads daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
• Attends progress and/or project OAC meetings.
• Creates and updates project schedules with Project Manager.
• Tracks budget and costs using cost reports and PM data.
• Communicates key project information to owners, design team, and vendors.
• Ensures QA/QC and proper documentation.
• Supports project closeouts and pre-punch activities.
• Identifies and recruits top talent and promotes diversity.
