Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 1 in Savannah, GA to lead all aspects of project execution from safety to scheduling. You will manage material, equipment, and personnel, coordinating with subcontractors and owners to ensure timely, profitable project completion.

The role requires strong communication, field supervision experience, and a commitment to JE Dunn’s core values and safety standards. Travel and non-traditional hours may be needed as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 3+ years construction experience with at least 1+ year field supervision.
• Ability to lead safety culture and manage subcontractors on projects.
• Experience coordinating budgets, schedules and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of safety culture on the project and mentor staff.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors and overall job workflow.
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Create and manage project schedule with Project Manager.
• Monitor budgets and cost reporting using project data.
• Attend progress and OAC meetings and communicate with owners/design teams.
