Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring timely and profitable completion. You will manage material and equipment, assist with people management, and maintain project documentation in line with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

The role requires 3+ years of construction experience and 1+ year of field supervision, with a focus on safety, coordination of subcontractors, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years construction experience.
• 1+ years field supervision experience.
• Knowledge of project processes and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and ensures injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and QA/QC programs.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Creates project schedule and tracks progress with PM.
