Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute assigned projects in a demanding construction environment. You will oversee material, equipment, and people, ensuring documentation and goals align with the company’s strategy and values.

This role focuses on timely, profitable project completion. You will lead safety initiatives, coordinate subcontractors, manage budgets and schedules, and report progress at various project meetings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years construction experience.
• 1+ years field supervision experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentoring to ensure injury‑free work.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self‑performed work.
• Coordinates and manages project site care and control.
• Creates and manages the project schedule with the Project Manager.
