Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute assigned projects in South Carolina. You will oversee safety, subcontractors, and project documentation to ensure timely, profitable completion in line with JE Dunn’s values.

The role advances to Superintendent 2 with demonstrated leadership and project performance. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with 3+ years construction experience and 1+ years supervision.

Qualifications

• 3+ years construction experience.
• 1+ years field supervision experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in CM/engineering or related field.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury-free environment.
• Provides management of subcontractors and organization of the overall job and workflow.
• Manages and oversees company staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs such as Safety, Quality and EEO.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates and manages the care, custody and control of the project site.
