Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned projects on site in Georgia. You will oversee material and equipment, help with people management, ensure documentation, and strive for timely and profitable project completion in line with JE Dunn’s values.

The role requires leadership in safety, coordination of subcontractors, and effective communication with owners and design teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years construction experience and 1+ years field supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure an injury-free environment through individual actions and mentoring others.
• Manage subcontractors and organization of the overall job and workflow.
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate and manage the care, custody and control of the project site.
• Leads various meetings including daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
