Job summary

McGough in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from pursuit through closeout. The PM will manage scope, schedules, budgets, and subcontractor oversight while building trusted relationships with owners and design partners.

The role emphasizes self-perform coordination, CPM scheduling, QA/QC, and active participation in preconstruction and procurement activities to ensure timely, on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Management or related field required.
• 5+ years of related experience, including self-perform capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience building strong partnerships and trust with owners, owners' representatives, design firms, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist pursuit team in understanding prospective projects and requirements.
• Research prospective clients and assist with responses to RFQs/RFPs.
• Participate in pursuit interviews and preconstruction meetings.
• Provide leadership to ensure success of QA/QC page turn process.
• Understand project workforce and vendor participation goals and incorporate into project work plan.
• Assist with creating CPM schedules and coordinating with field staff.
