Travelers seeks a Technical Specialist to handle complex, high-exposure construction liability claims. You will leverage investigations, coverage evaluation and settlement negotiation to resolve claims timely and cost-effectively. Serve as a technical resource to customers and teams.

The role emphasizes independent caseload management, collaboration with internal partners, and adherence to regulatory requirements while delivering superior customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Five years of experience in insurance claims, preferably construction liability claims.
• Licenses may be required and must be obtained within three months if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of construction liability claims.
• Conduct thorough investigations including policy review, liability and damages.
• Analyze and interpret insurance contracts, endorsements, and exclusions.
• Maintain detailed claim documentation and comply with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and legal counsel as needed.
• Mentor Claim Reps and Trainees to share knowledge and best practices.
