Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Chester, Virginia, is seeking a full-time commercial Electrical Foreman. The role supervises craft workers, plans labor requirements, and ensures safety and quality on projects.

Candidates must have 6-10 years of relevant commercial electrical experience; a State Electrical License is strongly preferred. OSHA 30 is preferred or obtainable. Travel may be required; pre-employment background and MVR checks will be conducted where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-10 years recent commercial electrician experience or related experience.
• State Electrical License strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background and MVR checks when operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers, plans labor requirements.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
• Confirms completion & documentation of project Daily/Weekly/Monthly safety activities reporting.
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Interprets company policies to workers enforcing safety regulations, and proper care for tools and equipment.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Travel may be required.
