Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Checer, Virginia, is seeking a full-time commercial Electrical Foreman to supervise crews and ensure projects meet safety, quality, and schedule goals.

The role requires interpreting blueprints, coordinating labor, and maintaining strict safety practices; travel may be required, and a state electrical license is preferred with OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–10 years of commercial electrician experience.
• State electrical license strongly preferred; OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background and MVR checks when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned craft workers.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders for supervision.
• Confirm documentation of safety activities (Daily/Weekly/Monthly).
• Inspect quality and quantity of finished work to meet specs.
• Enforce safety policies and proper care for tools and equipment.
• Analyze and resolve work problems.
• Travel may be required.
