Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, a subsidiary of IES Holdings, Inc., seeks a full-time Commercial Electrical Foreman in Richmond, Virginia. The role focuses on supervising craft workers, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring safety and quality on complex projects.

Applicant should have 6–10 years of commercial electrical experience; a state electrical license is preferred, and OSHA 30 is desirable or obtainable. Travel may be required, and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-10 years recent commercial electrician experience or related experience.
• State Electrical License strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers, plans labor requirements.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
• Confirms completion & documentation of project Daily/Weekly/Monthly safety activities reporting.
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Interprets company policies to workers enforcing safety regulations, and proper care for tools and equipment.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
