Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Chester, Virginia seeks a Journeyman Electrician for a full-time position. You will supervise and coordinate activities, interpret blueprints, confirm safety documentation, and ensure quality of work on industrial and commercial projects.

Candidates must have 5+ years of commercial electrical experience, hold a current state Journeyman license, and be able to obtain OSHA 10 if needed. Travel may be required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years recent commercial electrical field experience
• Current state Electrical Journeyman license
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain
• Pre-employment background and MVR checks when operating motor vehicles may be required

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders for supervision
• Confirms completion and documentation of project safety activities
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications
• Analyzes and resolves work problems
• Completes other duties as directed by supervisor
• Travels may be required
