Job summary

Caribou Coffee is seeking a General Manager for our Bismarck, ND location. You will oversee daily operations, drive sales, coach a high-performing team, and ensure an outstanding guest experience from the moment guests enter the coffeehouse to the final closing process.

The role requires 1–2 years of management in service industries, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work full-time including peak hours and holidays. ServSafe is preferred or obtainable within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or guest service management experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work full-time (40–47 hours weekly) with overtime incl. evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Preferred: ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience with sales building, P&L, recruitment, and training.

Responsibilities

• Staffing: maintain levels and schedule across all shifts; develop bench strength.
• Coach and develop the team through onboarding, training, and performance feedback.
• Lead guest service and SOP compliance to ensure a consistent brand experience.
• Drive sales, profitability, and operational excellence; manage promotions and windows.
• Oversee inventory, cash controls, loss prevention, and safety protocols.
