Job summary

solidcore is seeking a Head Coach in Washington, DC to lead the studio’s coaching team and deliver an exceptional client experience. You will coach 11 classes weekly, maintain operations, and foster partnerships in the community.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of group fitness experience, strong leadership, and the ability to engage clients with energy and clear communication. This full-time role includes benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of prior group fitness experience.
• Able to lift/carry a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Proficient in G-Suite and MS Office, including Excel and Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Lead studio as head coach with a full schedule of 11 classes per week.
• Set expectations for new and existing coaches.
• Deliver best-in-class fitness and customer service.
• Meet utilization and retention goals for the studio.
• Assist Area Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Lead outreach and marketing to scout new clients and build community partnerships.
• Provide coach development and feedback, supporting new coach trainings.
• Respond to client requests promptly and resolve concerns effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of studio products, promotions and apparel.
• Manage inventory and sales logs, ensuring equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
