Job summary

solidcore is seeking a Head Coach in Washington, DC to lead our studio and drive a best-in-class experience. You will coach an average of 11 classes weekly, set standards for fellow coaches, and support brand growth through exceptional client service and team development.

The role requires flexibility in scheduling, a strong fitness and leadership mindset, and a demonstrable ability to manage operations and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Permanent, exempt, full-time position with an expected 40 hours per week.
• Flexible and variable availability including weekends & holidays.
• Ability to lift / carry a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Proficiency in g-Suite and MS Office, specifically Excel and Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the studio's lead coach, maintaining a full schedule of 11 classes per week.
• Set expectations and lead by example for new and existing coaches.
• Deliver a best-in-class fitness and customer service experience aligned with solidcore standards.
• Meet utilization & retention goals for the studio and individuals.
• Support day-to-day studio operations per Area Manager directions.
• Lead outreach and marketing efforts to attract clients and form community partnerships.
• Provide coach development and feedback to the coaching team.
• Respond to client requests promptly and resolve concerns effectively.
• Maintain product knowledge for studio retail, including class packages and promotions.
• Handle routine tasks like ordering supplies, inventory, and sales logs.
• Ensure studio and equipment remain impeccable and fully functional.
• Assist with additional duties and projects as needed.
