Job summary

Stantec in Denver, CO, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead conveyance and water infrastructure projects and mentor staff. The role involves independent work on small and large projects, plus serving as a technical resource and Engineer-of-Record.

You will manage scopes, budgets, and schedules, lead coordination with clients and consultants, and support business development. Colorado PE or ability to obtain within 6 months is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license in Colorado or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in water, wastewater, and/or stormwater conveyance design.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects; manage high complexity.
• Serve as Engineer-of-Record.
• Provide technical leadership and guide junior staff.
• Lead client relations and business development efforts.
• Lead project specifications, cost estimates, and design reviews.
• Conduct constructability reviews and QA/QC.
