Job summary

Stantec seeks a Project Engineer for our Water team to deliver sanitary, storm, and watermain projects. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary design efforts, prepare specifications, and support project documents while ensuring standards compliance.

This role emphasizes collaboration across teams and managing multiple tasks with deadlines. You will apply your civil/site design knowledge to open-cut, relining, or trenchless water infrastructure projects, and engage with clients and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of related work experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Design sanitary, storm, and watermain projects and related site design tasks.
• Coordinate design and report deliverables for clients and approvals.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and sub-consultants.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Develop construction specifications, plans and schedules.
• Review shop drawings and submittals and assist in contract administration.
