Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Chef De Cuisine to lead daily kitchen operations, ensure top quality and presentation, and mentor culinary teams. You will support a fast-paced, high-volume resort environment while upholding the brand promise of exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires at least 5 years of leadership in a resort or large restaurant and the ability to work flexible shifts, with a focus on cost control and collaborative leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of culinary leadership experience in a high-volume setting.
• Broad knowledge of cuisines, techniques, and styles.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Execute a menu designed by Kalahari corporate.
• Oversee kitchen operations, cleanliness, consistency, and efficiency.
• Lead, train, and mentor culinary staff from prep cooks to sous chefs.
• Manage food costs, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Deliver memorable tableside presentations and collaboration with leadership.
