Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Resort Executive Chef to oversee all culinary responsibilities and lead a fast-paced, high-volume operation. You will report to the Director of Food and Beverage, guide a world-class team, manage budgets, and deliver extraordinary dining experiences.

You’ll drive strategic direction, mentor staff, and ensure seamless collaboration across departments, with a focus on innovation and guest satisfaction. Join a family‑oriented leader in luxury hospitality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive culinary experience, with 2–4 years in an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef role.
• 3+ years of management experience in a large hotel (500+ rooms) or large banquet setting.
• Proven success managing multi‑outlet operations including restaurants, banquets, room service, and events.

Responsibilities

• Lead Culinary Operations across resort dining venues, ensuring consistent quality and guest satisfaction.
• Build and manage a high-performing team with a culture of excellence and professionalism.
• Oversee budgets and costs: food, labor, inventory, and vendor relationships for profitability.
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards through strict compliance.
• Enhance guest experience through collaboration with F&B teams and leadership presence.
• Align culinary experiences with branding, marketing, and cross‑department initiatives.
