Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead production staff at our Franklin, WI facility. You will plan, assign, and direct work, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while meeting production run schedules.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of supervisory experience in food packaging, plus an Associate’s degree in Operations Management or equivalent. The role requires strong communication and teamwork, with occasional weekend hours and adherence to GMP and safety

Qualifications

• One to three years of supervisory experience in a food packaging environment preferred.
• A minimum of an Associate’s degree in Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures.
• Proficient with ERP solutions, SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises production employees to maximize productivity on assigned shifts and areas.
• Ensures proper procedures for production efficiency, quality, employee safety, and state/federal guidelines.
• Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs machine setup/adjustments.
• Coordinates and communicates production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements.
• Uses ERP to enter production data and generate reports including OEE and downtime.
• Trains employees and collaborates cross-functionally to meet objectives.
