Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to directly oversee production staff, plan and direct work, and ensure safety and quality compliance on assigned shifts.

The role requires coordinating schedules, implementing SOPs, and driving productivity through effective supervision and problem-solving. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in a food packaging environment, familiarity with GMPs, SAP/ERP systems, and strong communication and leadership abilities to guide

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education certificate equivalent.
• Associate's degree in Operations Management or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a food packaging environment preferred.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices; ERP/SAP and MS Office proficiency.
• Strong communication skills, organization, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsabilités

• Supervise production employees to maximize productivity on assigned shifts and areas.
• Plan, assign and direct work, addressing product and employee complaints and resolving problems.
• Coordinate production schedules, change-overs, label and packaging code specifications to ensure order accuracy; prevent over-runs.
• Use ERP to enter production data and report production results, OEE and downtime.
• Review production/packaging records and sanitation lists; maintain documentation.
• Train and develop staff; enforce safety, quality, and company policies; support HR disciplinary actions.
