Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Associate degree in Operations Management or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a food packaging environment.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English.
• Strong organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor supervised staff to maximize plant productivity.
• Ensure procedures for production efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Inspect products against specifications and adjust machines.
• Coordinate production schedules and estimate worker hour needs.
• Maintain production records and paperwork.
• Train employees and monitor performance.
• Suggest improvements to methods and equipment.
• Collaborate with supervisors across departments.
• Ensure consistent application of policies and disciplinary action.
• Promote safety programs and enforce sanitation policies.
