Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to directly supervise production employees, maximize productivity on assigned shifts, plan and direct work, and ensure adherence to policies, OSHA regs and laws.

You will collaborate with plant management, coordinate production schedules, monitor safety, quality, and training, and maintain records. The role requires an associate degree in operations management or equivalent, 1–3 years supervisory experience in food packaging, and

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Operations Management or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years supervisory experience in a food packaging environment preferred.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Experience leading and following Safety/Security Policies and Procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise production employees to maximize productivity on assigned shifts and areas.
• Coordinate production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of production run assignments.
• Ensure procedures for production efficiency, quality, safety, and compliance with guidelines are followed.
• Train and develop employees, monitor performance, and apply disciplinary actions when needed.
• Maintain production records and collaborate with other supervisors to coordinate department activities.
