Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Senior CEI Inspector to lead advanced inspection efforts on transportation projects.

You will supervise inspectors, perform complex field evaluations, and support contract administration while ensuring documentation accuracy and adherence to plans. The role requires experience with roadway/bridge construction, strong communication, and the ability to obtain GDOT certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of transportation inspection experience; or an equivalent combo.
• Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects and leading inspection personnel.
• Ability to obtain required GDOT certifications within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced-level CEI work on roadway and bridge projects.
• Lead and supervise lower-level inspectors and guide field activities.
• Manage project documentation, reports, and contract administration.
• Verify invoiced work for accuracy and compliance with plans.
• Monitor funding usage and assist with project close-out activities.
• Participate in meetings and ensure LAP requirements are met.
