Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a CEI Inspector for projects in Georgia, focusing on roadway and bridge inspection to ensure compliance with plans and standards.

You will perform field inspections, verify materials, maintain records, and support project engineers throughout construction. The role requires 18 months to 3 years of related experience, ability to read plans, and active certifications.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 months to 3 years of progressive transportation technician or construction inspection experience with a State Highway Agency or consulting firm; or equivalent.
• Experience inspecting roadways, bridges, transportation, or heavy civil construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Certifications listed (GDOT tests, WECS, etc.) must be obtained within stated timeframes.

Responsabilidades

• Perform independent inspections of roadway and bridge construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and contract requirements.
• Inspect asphalt and concrete materials, pavement placement, compaction, alignment, depth, and overall construction quality.
• Inspect structural components and operations including foundations, excavation, piling, reinforcing steel, structural steel, concrete placement, culverts, and backfill operations.
• Monitor and inspect traffic control devices and erosion and sediment control measures.
• Conduct field measurements and calculations for pay quantities and maintain accurate contract documentation.
