Job summary

Napa Valley Care Center in Napa, CA is seeking an experienced Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead our dietary services team and ensure high-quality nutrition for residents. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, food safety, and patient-centered dining experiences, with a competitive hourly pay range and sign-on options.

You will oversee daily dietary operations, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and support menu development while maintaining documentation and quality assurance

Qualifications

• Must hold current CDM certification.
• Knowledge of dietary regulations and sanitation standards.
• Experience supervising dietary staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct daily dietary operations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and facility regulations.
• Oversee meal planning, food preparation, and service delivery.
• Monitor food quality, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Registered Dietitian and care team.
• Supervise, train, and support dietary staff.
• Maintain inventory and supply controls.
• Conduct QA audits and implement improvements.
• Promote resident satisfaction through dining experiences.
