Napa Valley Care Center is seeking an experienced Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead our dietary services team in Napa, CA. This full-time role oversees daily operations, ensures compliance with regulations, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver nutritious, high-quality meals for residents.

The ideal candidate holds a current CDM certification, a high school diploma, and proven leadership in food service within skilled nursing or long-term care settings;

Qualifications

• Current Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of dietary regulations, food service operations and sanitation.
• Experience supervising dietary or food service staff.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the dietary department.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
• Oversee meal planning, preparation, and service delivery.
• Monitor food quality, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with RD and care team.
• Supervise and train dietary staff.
