Job summary

Holmes Lake Rehabilitation & Care Center is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to lead our dietary team in delivering high-quality nutritional care for residents. The CDM will assess dietary needs, plan meals, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing budgets, partnering with nursing and therapy teams, and maintaining accurate dietary records.

Qualifications

• CDM credential required and maintained.
• Advanced knowledge of food safety regulations and dietary practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct dietary assessments and plan individualized meal plans with healthcare staff.
• Develop nutritionally balanced menus meeting regulatory standards.
• Supervise dietary staff with training and performance evaluations.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance and proper storage/serving.
• Assist in managing the dietary department budget and monitor costs.
• Engage with residents to enhance dining experience and gather feedback.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain documentation of menus and dietary assessments.
