Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier in California to ensure efficient guest transactions, maintain cashwrap standards, and support training of new cashiers. The role emphasizes loyalty, guest experience, and adherence to procedures.

You will lead by example, manage open/close register tasks, support associates, and help drive sales and brand experience across all store operations. Availability for flexible schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent education.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive loyalty results and guest experience, including credit and loyalty goals.
• Greet and engage guests, personalize service, and recommend Ulta Beauty products and services.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges with courtesy.
• Pair guests with a beauty associate for makeup, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations.
• Book appointments and support services and in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
