Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Calabasas, CA is seeking a Lead Cashier to champion fast, accurateguest transactions and maintain pristine cashwrap standards. This role trains new cashiers, supports associates, and drives loyalty through exceptional service and product knowledge.

The position demands flexibility for days/evenings/weekends, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset to grow sales and loyalty metrics. A minimum of 2 years’ experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests’ concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty (including credit), and retail shrink.
• Ensure every guest receives exceptional service with a guest-friendly environment and personalized recommendations.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously.
• Pair guests with an associate for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures for guest-readiness.
