Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to drive guest experience and loyalty through exceptional service and efficient cashwrap operations. You will train new cashiers, supervise open/close procedures, and collaborate with store leadership to meet sales goals while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, assisting in makeup applications, and maintaining displays; you’ll lead teammates to deliver personalized beauty experiences and protect company assets daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task and problem-solve
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty and shrink.
• Provide exceptional service by greeting guests, personalizing service, and recommending Ulta Beauty products and services.
• Handle sales, refunds and exchanges.
• Pair guests with an associate for makeup applications, skincare analysis and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events delivering an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals.
• Own replenishment, organization and maintenance of cashwrap displays and impulse fixtures.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Assist in training of new cashiers, and cross-training other associates in cashiering.
• Lead peers to achieve peak productivity and performance.
