Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to ensure efficient guest transactions and to maintain cashwrap standards across the store. The role includes training new cashiers and cross-training teammates, with a focus on driving loyalty results and guest experience.

You will also be involved in makeup applications, skincare analysis and product demonstrations to boost sales, while keeping the store clean and well organized. A strong history in customer service and sales is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty and credit.
• Provide exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest and personalizing service.
• Handle sales, refunds and exchanges with courtesy.
• Pair guests with an associate for makeup applications, skincare analysis and product demonstrations to drive sales and loyalty.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience while achieving sales goals.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies and impulse fixtures for guest-readiness.
