Sprouts Farmers Market in Riverside, CA is seeking a Head Cashier to supervise cashiers and assist with daily operations. You will lead a fast-paced front-end team, ensuring exemplary customer service and adherence to safety and store policies.

The role requires 1–2 years cashiering experience with leadership training, plus flexibility for nights and weekends. You will manage breaks, assist with staffing, and help maintain store cleanliness and security measures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma or GED, and 1-2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers as a role model.
• Ability to operate front end equipment; register, calculator, scanner.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs., up to 50 hours, and handle carts up to 35 lbs.
• Proficient with numbers; cash handling and math skills; read, write and count.

Responsabilités

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Proactively visit registers to ensure excellent customer service and provide direction to cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Assist with customer assistance issues at the register.
• Schedule and oversee breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and take steps for disciplinary actions.
