Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Head Cashier to supervise a team of cashiers and support store operations. You will ensure top-notch customer service at the registers, assist with scheduling, hiring, and training, and uphold store standards for cleanliness and security in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 1–2 years cashiering with leadership exposure, a HS diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a HS diploma or GED
• 1–2 years cashiering experience with leadership exposure
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and strong customer service skills
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner
• Strong communication and teamwork, receptive to feedback
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Must lift up to 30 lbs. and push/pull carts as required

Responsibilities

• Supervise cashiers and assist with store operations
• Visit registers to ensure excellent customer service and provide guidance
• Manage scheduling and meal/rest break compliance
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers; address disciplinary actions
• Monitor cash register supplies and maintain cleanliness in restrooms and parking areas
• Support loss prevention through door visibility and security practices
• Lead in a fast-paced environment and drive team performance
