Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and strong communication to model customer service.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment (register, calculator, scanner).

Responsibilities

• Ensure excellent customer service through proactively visiting registers and providing direction/support to Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Assist in potential customer assistance issues at the register.
• Assign store sweeps, monitor/maintain cash register supply levels and maintain cleanliness standards in the restrooms and parking lots.
• Maintain visibility of the exit doors for security and loss prevention issues.
• Schedule and oversee proper execution of appropriate meal and rest breaks in compliance with company policy and state requirements.
• Assist in the hiring and training of new Cashiers and taking necessary steps for disciplinary actions.
