Lowe’s in Lake Jackson, TX is seeking a friendly cashier to deliver great customer service at the front end. You will process transactions, help customers locate and compare products, demonstrate how to complete projects, and keep the checkout area stocked and organized while following Lowe’s policies.

The role involves price matching, ringing up sales, and assisting in training teammates on front-end duties.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Responsabilidades

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe’s policies and programs
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
• Responds knowledgeably to questions and guides customers through projects in-store
• Communicates stock, feature benefits, and warranty information related to Lowe’s programs
• Coaches and trains associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities
• Processes sales transactions, returns, and refunds at the register
• Maintains accurate cash handling and drawer reconciliation
• Removes security tags and bags merchandise for customers
• Supports checkouts by opening additional registers when needed
• Prepares and maintains the register area and stock for shifts
• Inspects returned merchandise for damages
• Enters orders, verifies receipts, and loads tickets
• Looks up product information and price match competitors
• Records items used in the store and completes daily duties
• Monitors security and safety practices and keeps areas clean and organized
• Operates store equipment as needed
• Performs additional duties as assigned
